"Better Be": Jairam Ramesh's Jibe At Trump's 'Very Big' India, US trade Deal
Days after signing a new agreement with China, US President Donald Trump on Friday said a “very big” trade deal with India will happen soon. Congress general secretary in charge of communications Jairam Ramesh took a jibe at this trade deal hint on social media.
He remarked that given Trump’s repeated claims of having used a trade deal to broker a ceasefire between India and Pakistan and abruptly halt Operation Sindoor, this new deal “better be” good. Ramesh further added that it has now become evident that the US holds great influence over decisions of importance to India

“As is now becoming evident, India has to get to know decisions of great importance to it from the White House in Washington DC,” Jairam Ramesh added.
