AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) MP Sanjay Singh on Tuesday said that the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) and RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh) “hate” Dr B R Ambedkar and Dalits of this country. He alleged that the BJP wants to change the Constitution of the country by removing the word India and replacing it with ‘Bharat’. He was responding to comments made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on India vs Bharat.
Earlier this month, Mohan Bhagwat had said that the people of India should use the name ‘Bharat’ instead of India and this has resulted into a political storm.
A speculation is being going on to pass a resolution at the Parliament to officially remove ‘India’ from the Indian Constitution.
“I want to warn BJP and RSS not to play with the Constitution of India”, Sanjay Singh told PTI.
Mr Singh has also shared the provisions mentioned in the Article 1 of the Constitution.

The BJP has been attacking the new opposition bloc INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) by repeatedly declaring that the name “India” is a remnant of a colonial past.
