Businessman Found Dead At Kannada Actress Krishi Thapanda's Bengaluru Apartment
Bengaluru, Karnataka: A 33-year-old businessman was found dead at the apartment of Kannada actress Krishi Thapanda in Bengaluru’s RR Nagar on Thursday, triggering a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Krishi Thapanda was the victim’s friend, and the deceased man visited the actress’ apartment. According to the police, the man allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan when no one else was present in the flat. Actress Krishi Thapanda was not at home when the incident occurred.
The body was later shifted to Victoria Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Authorities said the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the autopsy report is available.
Vaishak ran a car, automobile and garage business, and was a close friend of Krishi Thapanda. He has a 14-year-old son, but his family life was reportedly troubled for some time. He was also arrested earlier for allegedly threatening another businessman. Because of this, Vaishak and his wife used to have constant fights. Upset with these issues, Vaishak would often stay at Krishi’s flat, and he also had a spare key to the apartment, as per reports.

Police have urged against speculation, stating that the investigation is still in the preliminary state as officials are probing multiple angles of the case.
