Wayanad, Kerala: The Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) is all prepared to host a global livestock conclave at its headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, from December 20 to December 29. The programs claims to be showcasing the forefront of technological advancements that are revolutionizing the industry.
The 10-day event aims to foster comprehensive development in livestock and animal husbandry sectors with a focus on enhancing dairy productivity. It would present AI-driven precision farming to groundbreaking waste-to-wealth initiatives, in addition to tools and strategies that are shaping the future of farming, according to the organisers.

Various international experts, thought leaders, and innovators would take part in the event and share their insights on driving positive change on a global scale. The event has prepared a 200,000 sq. ft. of cutting-edge innovations with more than 500 stalls, featuring over 500 live animals and 200 bird varieties.
The attendees can engage in seminars, workshops, competitions, and live entertainment, including dog shows, horse runs, and aqua shows. The program will also offer real-time consultancy services for farmers, providing expert guidance on livestock diseases and treatments.

The visitor can also take the event as an tour as the organisers have prepared food stalls, kids’ play area, adventure park, and exciting sponsor attractions at the venue. Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development J. Chinchurani will inaugurate the event on December 21.
