“How Much Black Money Received From Adani, Ambani?” PM Modi Skewers Rahul Gandhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi fired fresh criticism at former Congress president and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi during a rally in Telangana’s Karimnagar on Wednesday. Taking aim at the Congress, the Prime Minister accused them of constantly invoking the names of “Adani and Ambani” for five years, only to stop once the Lok Sabha polls were announced.

He questioned Rahul Gandhi’s sudden halt in targeting ‘Ambani-Adani’ in his election campaigns, saying, “For five years, Congress’s shehzade kept chanting one thing. After his Rafael issue got grounded, he started a new chant. Five industrialists, five industrialists, five industrialists. Gradually, he started saying Ambani-Adani. But ever since the elections were announced, he stopped abusing Ambani and Adani. Today, I want to ask from Telangana soil, he must declare how much money they have taken from Ambani, Adani? Was there a deal? Why did you stop abusing Ambani and Adani overnight? Zaroor daal mein kucchh kaala hai (something is wrong). You abused them for five years and then it stopped overnight?”

PM Modi declared that after the third phase of general elections, the third “fuse” of Congress and its INDI Alliance parties had been blown off. He expressed confidence in the BJP and NDA’s path to victory, with four phases of polling remaining and the support of the people.

In Telangana, PM Modi claimed that Congress and former Chief Minister KCR’s BRS are united by their pursuit of appeasement politics. He alleged that both BRS and Congress, despite publicly accusing each other of corruption, are ultimately part of the same syndicate.

“The only ‘glue’ that binds Congress and BRS together is of corruption. Appeasement politics is what’s their agenda. Congress and BRS follow the ‘zero governance model’. Therefore, we need to save Telangana from the corrupt clutches of these parties,” said PM during the rally.

He contrasted the BJP’s ‘nation first’ principle with the Congress and BRS’ ‘family first’ approach.

Referring to Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he said, “Congress and BRS are two sides of the same corruption coin. This was evident in the Delhi liquor scam, where BRS members were involved with a party allied with Congress. When action was taken against this scam, members of this corruption racket came together in support of each other.”

Accusing the Congress party of corruption, PM Modi reiterated, “The Congress party wants to grab the reservation rights meant for SCs, STs and Dalits and give the same to the Muslim community. Ensuring welfare is neither their vision nor agenda. All that Congress wants to secure is its vote bank. This corrupt party is fully immersed in appeasement policy.”

In a veiled attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, PM Modi alleged that the money collected in the state through “double R (RR) tax” is being channelled to Delhi.

“There is widespread discussion about this RR tax in Telangana. It is alleged that industrialists and contractors in Telangana are required to pay a certain percentage of RR tax. It is claimed that a significant portion of the total collection here goes to Delhi as RR tax. I know you all are troubled by this RR Tax,” PM Modi said.
