“If You Vote To BJP…” Mahua Moitra Reacts To Attack On Muslim Vegetable Vendor

Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra criticized the BJP government ruling Rajasthan over the increase in the spread of communalism in the state and further urged the people of Haryana to vote wisely in the upcoming state elections.

TMC leader’s remark came in following the video of abusing an innocent Muslim vendor shared by fact-checker Muhammad Zubair on X.

Zubair shared a video in which a youth named Anshul Dadhich was seen abusing a Muslim vegetable vendor. The man was arrested by the police after the video went viral on social media.

“The poison of communalism is spreading among people across India! A video of a youth named Anshul Dadhich abusing and beating a poor vegetable vendor just because he is a Muslim. He was later arrested by @jaipur_police @PoliceRajasthan after the video went viral,” Muhammad Zubair wrote on X.

Anshul had uploaded the video of the incident on social media where he was seen abusing the vegetable vendor and telling him to prove that he was an Indian. The accused even called him a Bangladeshi as well and assaulted Shahroz, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Mahua Moitra responding to this wrote on X, “This is what you get when you vote in a BJP state government. Beware Haryana, beware. Make sure the ideology that churns out these sick criminals finds no place in your state.”

Meanwhile, the accused had climbed on the water tank last year, demanding the country be declared a Hindu Rashtra, following which the police brought him down, and a case was registered against him.
