Journalist Sarita Patel, Missing Since April 30, Found In Critically Injured In Rajgarh, With Body Tied, Petrol Poured

Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh: Sarita Patel, a 40-year-old journalist and YouTuber from Mirzapur, went missing since April 30 and was discovered in critical condition near a culvert in the Rajgarh area in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur.

The female journalist, who is also known as Sarita Singh was found with her her hands, legs, and mouth tied, and petrol poured on her in an apparent attempt to burn her alive. Local residents discovered the critically injured woman when they were returning from a wedding function.

The locals then alerted the police, and the officials rushed the journalist to a hospital for treatment. Police have now launched an investigation into the incident. Several media professionals have come forward, asking the government to identify the culprits and taking appropriate action.
