Madhya Pradesh: Chaos Reported As Locals Rushed To Collect Spilled Oil After Tanker Overturned
Guna, Madhya Pradesh: A tanker, heading from Indore to Mandideep, flipped on Todi Road near a trenching ground in Madhya Pradesh‘s Guna on Monday, August 24. After the vehicle overturned, women, children, and the elderly from nearby homes rushed to the area to collect the spilled refined oil flowing into drains and bushes. The vehicle was carrying refined palm oil.
Chaos was reported as large numbers of people were rushing to collect the oil as police were trying to control the crowd. The officials arrived soon and warned of a potential fire hazard. The police detained driver Rakesh Meena on suspicion of drunk driving.

There are no injuries, and the authorities have initiated cleanup efforts using cranes to right the vehicle. Videos from the site showed the residents rushing to the site with buckets and containers to scoop up oil spilling onto the road when the tanker carrying refined palm oil overturned.
