Bhind, Madhya Pradesh: At least eight labourers were killed, and 32 others injured after their pick-up vehicle collided with a truck in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind district on Tuesday morning. The incident took place near Chhimka village on the Bhind-Gwalior National Highway.
Initial investigation suggests that the driver of the labourers’ vehicle lost control while trying to avoid cattle sitting on the highway. The accident occurred when the labourers were returning to their village in Uttar Pradesh’ Lakhimpur Kheri, after completing paddy transplantation work in Gwalior.
