Uttar Pradesh: Slain Atiq Ahmed's Youngest Son Killed In Road Accident On Jhansi-Kanpur Highway

Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh: Late gangster-turned politican Atiq Ahmed’s youngest son, Abaan Ahmed, has been killed in a road accident on the Jhansi-Kanpur National Highway in Uttar Pradesh this morning, August 6.

Abaan’s car allegedly lost control and struck the divider on the National Highway which falls under the Poonch police station limit. Abaan was on his way to meet his elder brother who is lodged in a Jhansi jail, The Hindu reported citing police.

Another person, Sonu, son of Raja, was also with Abaan in the car during the crash. Sonu also lost his life during the accident. According to SSP Jhansi, Aaban was travelling in a speeding car when it crashed into a divider. His friend Sonu, who was also in the vehicle was killed in the accident.

Two  others were also in the car, and they sustained critical injuries during the accident. The injured are being treated at the Montha Community Health Centre, police informed. “The bodies of the deceased were taken into custody and necessary legal proceedings, including the Panchayatnama, are being carried out as per the rules,” The Hindu quoted police.
