Madhya Pradesh: Neighbour Abducts 8-Year-Old Girl From School, Rapes And Kills Her In Forest
Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh: Police have arrested a 28-year-old man in Madhya Pradesh’s Narsinghpur district for allegedly rapping and murdering an eight-year-old Class 3 student.
The horrific crime occurred under Gotegaon police station limits. The accused allegedly abducted the girl from outside her school. The accused, the girl’s neighbour, went to her school during lunch break and told her that her father had sent him to pick her up. The child believed him and went with him. The man then took her to a nearby forest where he raped the girl. When the girl resisted, the man allegedly strangled her to death.

After the family informed the police that the girl is missing and not returned from school, the Gotegaon police formed several teams. The team found out that the girl was last seen with her neighbour, identified as Annu Yadav.
Police subsequently tracked the accused, Annu, down. Though Annu allegedly tried to escape on a motorcycle but lost control and crashed, sustaining injuries.

Police said that though the accused initially tried to mislead the police, officials found bloodstains on him. On sustained interrogation, he confessed to the crime. Based on his statement, police recovered the girl’s body from the forest.
