During a cricket match in Thane, a man dies after executing a perfect sixer shot over the bowler’s head. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The shocking incident occurred in Thane’s Mira Road area in Maharashtra.

In the video which was widely circulated, a man wearing a pink jersey and holding a cricket bat is seen hitting a sixer who in the next few seconds suddenly collapses on the ground. Fellow players on the field rushed to his aid. However, their efforts were unsuccessful and the man remained unresponsive on the ground.

The man’s identity is not yet revived. As per the police, the investigation is in process and the exact reason behind the death is still unknown, reports NDTV.

The man was later identified as 42 -year-old Ramakrishnan Thevar. The body was sent to a government hospital for post-mortem. As per the recent report, the man suffered from a sudden heart attack while playing on the turf cricket in the Kashimeera area of Mira Road. The turf cricket was played by a company and employees were playing against each other in the turf.

Deaths from youngsters due to heart attacks have risen in recent times. Similar shocking incident took place in Noida in January. A techie lost his life due to sudden cardiac arrest while playing on the ground. The man suddenly collapsed on the ground while going for a run.
