Over 100 Muslim Youth League, MSF Activists Detained, Allege Police Assault During Jantar Mantar March

New Delhi: More than 100 activists of the Muslim Youth League and the Muslim Students Federation (MSF) were detained by Delhi Police during a march towards Jantar Mantar. Protesters alleged that police personnel physically assaulted several participants, including female students.

The march was led by Youth League and MSF leaders, including Adv. Shibu Meeran, National Secretary of the Youth League; P. V. Ahmed Saju, National President of MSF; Adv. Afsal Yusuf; Jamia MSF leaders Sahad P. K, Ansil Iqbal; and JNU MSF leaders Shuhaib Pullath and Salih.

According to the protesters, several activists were assaulted during the police action. They further alleged that the detained protesters were taken to an undisclosed location.
