Parliament Intruders Thrashed By MPs; Intruder Got Visitor Pass In BJP MP’s Name

In a recent video that went viral on X (formerly Twitter), parliamentarians are seen thrashing two men who jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber while the Winter Session of the Parliament was ongoing today (Wednesday). The intruders jumped from the public gallery, released yellow gas from canisters and shouted slogans.

The intruders were immediately caught and slapped by the parliamentarians before the security personnel taking them.

The intruders have been identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan. Sharma came to the visitor”s gallery as a guest of Mysuru Lok Sabha member Prathap Simha. The visitor’s pass which India Today accessed revealed that it has the name of one of the intruders, Sagar Sharma, and the pass was issued in the name of BJP MP Pratap Simha.

Congress MP Karti Chidambaram explained the incident: “Suddenly, two young men around 20 years old jumped into the House from the visitor”s gallery and had canisters in their hands. These canisters were emitting yellow smoke. One of them was attempting to run towards the Speaker”s chair. They were shouting some slogans. The smoke could have been poisonous,” India Today reported.

Also, there was chaos outside the parliament as two people, one man and one woman protested outside the parliament with coloured smoke. The Delhi police later detained both.
