"Disgraceful": TMC MP Condemns Christian Prayer Meet Attack In Dehradun

On Sunday, a Hindutva mob attacked Christian prayer meet in Dehradun and assaulted people including women, Newslaundry reports. A group of Hindutva activists barged into the weekly prayer meet, and attacked at least seven of those present in the house. They destroyed the prayer room and bedroom, made deprecatory remarks against the Christian faith, and implicated all of them of forced conversions.

Condemning the incident, TMC MP Mahua Moitra wrote on X: “This is disgraceful”. The destruction of mosques and churches is so ordinary that no one gives any attention. “We should do something,” Moitra said in her post.
