Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishes “Milad-un-Nabi”. Mr. Modi extended his “greetings on Milad-un-Nabi”. He said, “May the spirit of brotherhood and kindness be furthered in our society. May everyone be happy and healthy. Eid Mubarak”.
The President of India, Droupathi Murmu has also greeted on the alleged birthday of Prophet Muhammed”s(Peace Be Upon Him). Taking to X (formerly twitter), the President of India also shared her message in two language, Urdu and Hindi. Her post read, “In this holy occasion of Milad-ul-Nabi, I congratulate all the countrymen, especially the Muslim brothers and sisters. Today, on the birthday of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him), let us all pledge to move forward with goodwill and brotherhood and work for the welfare of the entire humanity”.

Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi also came forward with his share of greeting. “Happy Eid Milad-un-Nabi to all! May this festival bring happiness, brotherhood and health in everyone”s life”, Mr. Gandhi wrote on X.

Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal (Arabic month), which is considered to be the birthday Prophet Muhammed by Muslims.
