Prime Minister Narendra Modi is more interested in “false narrations” and “diversion tactics” than the everyday issues of the common man, said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday amid the Sanatana Dharma controversy evoked by DMK minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.
The CM also urged his party members to stay focused and not get affected by the BJP made distractions.
According to him PM Modi and his cabinet are spreading false narratives around “Sanatana Dharma”.
“While the Prime Minister remains silent on everyday issues impacting the common man, his cabinet focuses on #SanatanaDharma by spreading false narratives and fuelling it with support from a few media outlets”, said Mr Stalin on X (formerly Twitter).

He also insisted the DMK leaders to continue questioning the BJP-led central government about Manipur violence, the Adani allegations, and the various scandals exposed by the CAG report.
“I urge our DMK leaders and cadre not to react to such diversion tactics and to continue posing questions to the BJP on #ManipurViolence, #AdaniHindenburg, a whopping 7.50 lakh crore rupees flagged in the #CAGreport, and other pressing issues, along with highlighting 9-year failures of the BJP, he wrote on X.
Mr Stalin further announced that the DMK government had successfully fulfilled 99% of its electoral promises, meanwhile BJP met only failures during their 9 years in office.
“We will keep on posing questions, and so will #INDIA”, he declared.
“Add power to INDIA alliance by speaking more about the corruption of the BJP government, State Autonomy, Anti Democracy activities, Anti State Rights, and hate politics of the BJP. Understand the BJP”s motive and break their lies. People know that the BJP is an expert in diverting the small issues with bad intentions from the real issues with the help of the media”, said Mr Stalin in his letter to the party cadre.
It was recently, Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Udayanidhi Stalin’s statement on Sanatan Dharma stirred a controversy across the nation. He paralleled it with disease like malaria, dengue and corona, while addressing a conference organised by Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers Artists Association on the theme of ‘eradication of Sanatana’.
