Student Group Alleges BJP Affiliates Infiltrated Jharkhand Protest Over Exam Irregularities
Ranchi, Jharkhand: Student and left-wing groups alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and RSS affiliates infiltrated and tried to hijack the ongoing student agitation in Jharkhand over recruitment exam irregularities.
Tensions peaked when an individual threw ink at AISA state president Neha Bora during a march in Ranchi, prompting accusations of political disruption.

The incident prompted lathi charges, water cannons, and tear gas that injured people on both sides.

Thousands of students and youth organizations have been protesting in Ranchi over alleged irregularities and corruption in JPSC and JSSC recruitment exams. The BJP has demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi over his “silence” on ongoing protests in Ranchi and accused the Congress of adopting “double standards” on issues concerning the youth.

NDA leaders, including Kangana Ranaut and Sambit Patra, accused the Opposition of dodging debate. Congress has bit back noting that Rahul Gandhi had met the students and urging the home minister to address Parliament, as rival groups faced off amid security.
