Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Asks Centre To Respect Students' Sentiment, Demands Scrapping NEET Altogether

New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Wednesday, July 22, demanded the Union Government to scrap NEET examination altogether and respect students’ sentiments amid the raging protest at Jantar Mantar.

The chief minister said scrapping the national examination altogether is the only solution to the issue, noting that he supporting the state’s right to conduct medical examination.

The chief minister then expressed his party’s support  to the Opposition’s protest outside Parliament to express solidarity with students led by the CJP’s Gen-Z movement in Delhi.

Vijay also slammed the arrests of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and other leaders, calling them ‘anti-democratic,’ and action of ‘arrest’ condemnable.
