Vedant Agarwal Gets Bail In Porche Accident That Killed Two Bikers In Pune

Hours after the tragic incident of a speeding Porche ramming into a bike and killing a young man and woman today, the driver of the car has been granted bail by a Court. The victims had died on the spot after the car hit them in Kalyani Nagar, Pune at around 3 a.m. Hours later, the police detained the accused, Vedant Agarwal, the son of the known construction businessman Vishal Agarwal.

However, Vedant Agarwal, who was driving the Porche that hit the bike, was later granted bail by the court. The accused”s lawyer, Prashant Patil, said that the court was kind enough to grant my client bail on certain conditions. “We have complete faith in the investigation and shall continue to cooperate with the police agencies. My client is duty-bound to follow the stringent conditions of the Honourable Court. We shall continue to attend the proceedings and wait for the outcome of the investigation,” the lawyer said, as the media house reported.

The Yerwada police that registered the case had produced him before a holiday court. However, the 17-year-old Guvilina has been freed on conditional bail.

After the collision by the luxury car, Vedant Agarwal, who was driving the vehicle, was assaulted by a group of bystanders, as per a video that surfaced online from the field.

The local media reports that the residents have asked the police to register a case against the parents as the minor was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Vedant Agarwal was reportedly returning from Q Bar and Cafe in Koregaon Park, and the minor was forcefully taking the driver”s seat, according to the police. However, many have questioned the bail, noting that the father”s influence saved the business tycoon”s son.

Many users on social media have come up criticising the system as serving only the rich while leaving the value of common people behind.
