“what always hurts the most is, is not taking a moment to say goodbye", Babil Khan

“What always hurts the most, is not taking a moment to say goodbye”.

The omnipresent dull aching at the back of one’s mind who never got to say goodbye to their dear ones can be called as a “never-ending affair of pain”. Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan may have such an affair, but the nascent star is never afraid to embrace the vulnerabilities.

He misses his “Baba”, very much. And his inability to “quench” the love, affection, and answers to all his queries from his beloved “Baba” often made his heart “bleed,” and his pain, love and admiration for Baba oozes out through his fingertips sometimes. And if lucky enough, fans get to have a glimpse of the hearty moments of the Khan family through the stories and words shared by Babil.

The Qala actor uses his Instagram page to share his wise and beautiful musings and anecdotes about anything and everything. Irrfan Khan often appeared in his son’s posts. On Friday morning, Babil has once again penned down about his Baba with pictures of his parents during a boat ride. He quoted the picture with lines from “Life of Pie”, which is stared by Irrfan Khan and was released in 2012. At the end of the note, he asked whether he “really have to mention the Bibliography of this dialogue?”

His post read, “..but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye…To tell him, without his lessons, I Would never have survived”.

Babil Khan can be called as an exquisite paradigm of miscellaneous amalgamation of charm, elegance and love. He owes his personality to his parents’ bringing up. He is a proud son. Sharing his Baba’s picture Babil wrote About how the stellar actor Irrfan Khan, who always delved into bringing out the nuance textures of his characters, was “eager to live the/your physical experience of the very ironic phenomenon” which Babil said is the belief of Irrfan Khan in the “uncertainties of known”. He ended his note by speaking about how he just realized about how his father “loved being a father more than being an actor”.
