A banquet in Delhi is being turned into a fortress for an unusual wedding. A gangster wedding is going to take place. ‘Madam Minz’ and ‘Kaala Jathedi’ will tie knots today at Delhi’s Santosh Garden in Dwarka Sector-3. Setting up metal detectors, drones, CCTV cameras and armed commandoes, the marriage preparations are full on. The baraatis of this lesser-heard wedding include a few handpicked police officers from special cell and crime branch of Delhi police.
The notorious gangster Sandeep, who is also known as Kaala Jathedi and his girlfriend Anuradha Chaudhary, who is often referred to as ‘Lady Don’ or Maadam Minz are getting married. Despite facing several legal obstacles, the gangster managed to secure 6 hours parole to marry Chaudhary.
Madam Minz, also known as Lady Love has a history of liquor smuggling, land grabbing, extortion, and arm trafficking. Her name had popped up during the probe into the murder of popular Punjabi singer Siddhu Moosewala.
The Rajasthan born Chaudhary had a humble upbringing. After her mother’s demise, Chaudhary was raised by her father. After her education, she went into stock trading. The saga of her crimes started when she was betrayed and ended neck-deep in debts worth millions.
Striving hard to keep up with the hefty burden of debt, she sought refuge in gangster Anandpal, and started working for him. She was introduced to Anandpal by Balbir Banuda, a history-sheeter. She earned herself the monikers like Madam Minz or Lady Don.
According to media report, the dossier prepared on Chaudhary by the Haryana special Task Force said that, “she sought financial help from Anandpal Singh and soon became involved in his gang. During her time with Anandpal, she taught him English and how to dress like a gentleman. Anandpal was a rural man who used to wear simple shirt-pants with a scarf before meeting Anuradha”.
The love story between Madam Minz and Kaala Jathedi started at the hills of Uttarakhand’s Garhawl, during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. When Kaala Jathedi was wanted by the police for several cases, Chaudhary had her own share of antagonists in her story, including Raju Basaudi, who is known to be a fierce rival of Anandpal, for whom Chaudhary is working.
Kaala Jathedi and Madam Minz sought shelter in the Garhawl region, roaming around from one place to another for about nine months. However, the couple were caught in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur in July 2021. Allegedly, although the couple stayed in separate room, their meetings were facilitated by using the connections they have.
As per media report, Madam Minz got the ‘Minz’ from her ex-husband. She met lecturer Felix Deepak Minz, a lecturer of Sikar Shekhawati College in 2006. Both got married in 2007, and separated in 2013.
Reportedly, Jathedi’s elderly parents resides with Chaudhary, who is on parole now. They had been living together for past few months.
