The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the extension of the submission deadline for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), in July 2024. Now, the applicants can register by April 5, 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website – ctet.nic.in to fill out the application form.

Notably, earlier the deadline for the CTET exam conducted by CBSE was April 2, 2024, which has now been extended. CTET is a national-level examination used to determine a candidate’s eligibility to teach primary (classes 1–5) or elementary (classes 6–8) levels of students. Those who clear the examination also become eligible to teach at Central Government institutions like KVS, NVS, etc.

CTET Exam 2024: Step-wise Application Procedure

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the registration link available on the home page.

Step 3: Fill out the application form and make the fee payment.

Step 4: Submit the application form and Save the copy for further use.

Step 5: Once done, fill out the application form and make the payment of application fees.

As per the notification, the test will be conducted in 20 languages in 136 cities all over the country. The detailed information bulletin is available on the official website.
