Indian Oil Recruitment 2024: Application Invite for 473 Apprentice Posts

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications for the recruitment of apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act,1961 (amended). Candidates may apply through the official website by February 1, 2024. The positions are in a variety of vocations, including date entry operator, mechanical, electrical, T&I, human resources, and accounts/finance.  Each group has different requirements in terms of education and other qualifications. A monthly stipend in accordance with the Apprentices Rules of 1992 and IOCL rules will be given during the 12-month apprenticeship and training term.

The selection process includes a written test of 100 Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying 1 mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers. 40% is the minimum required score in the written exam. For trades designated to SC/ST and PwBD applicants, the same is reduced by 5%, or 35%.

Candidates between the ages of 18 and 24 are eligible to apply, with an age relaxation for reserved categories.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the country”s largest commercial enterprise and a Fortune “Global 500” company, seeks to employ apprentices in both technical and non-technical trades. The available positions are applicable with its five regions—the Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), the Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), the South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL), the Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), and the Western Region Pipelines (WRPL).
