New Delhi: Amidst India-Pakistan tensions and unfolding chaos, Indian Oil addressed public concerns by dismissing the rumours circulating about fuel and LPG availability in the country. The company assured the people that there is enough fuel supply and requested people to refrain from panic buying.

In a recent post on X, India Oil wrote, Indian Oil has ample fuel stocks across the country and our supply lines are operating smoothly. There is no need for panic buying—fuel and LPG is readily available at all our outlets. Help us serve you better by staying calm and avoiding unnecessary rush. This will keep our supply lines running seamlessly and ensure uninterrupted fuel access for all.”

In a major escalation on Thurday night, Pakistan simultaneously attacked several locations in Jammu, including the airport, Jaisalmer, Punjab and other regions across India. Rockets were fired at Jammu from across the International Border and eight Pakistani missiles were intercepted by the India’s S-400 air defence system over Jammu Civil Airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, and nearby areas.

The escalation came less than 48 hours after India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
