IUML Announces Names of 25 Candidates For Kerala Assembly Elections
The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), has released a list of candidates, naming 25 leaders for various constituencies for the upcoming state Assembly Elections.
A key constituent of the opposition Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), the party will contest for 27 seats, said president Sayed Sadik Ali Shihab Thangal.

The party has fielded two female candidates — Jayanthi Rajan and Fathima Thahliya — for the upcoming poll. Jayanti Rajan is currently the national secretary of the Women’s League, while Fathima Thahliya serve in Kozhikode Corporatioin after registering a resounding victor in the recently held local body polls.
PK Kunhalikutty will contest the Malappuram Constitution while Najeeb Kanthapuram will remain in Perinthalmanna. K M Shaji will contest from Vengara and PK Feroz from Koduvally.
