Kerala is set to host India’s first International GenAI Conclave, co-hosted by the Government of Kerala and IBM. It was announced by Pinarayi Vijayan, the chief minister of the State. Earlier, in June, Industries Minister P Rajeev disclosed the scheduled date of the first Gen AI conclave while speaking at the Special Recognition for Business Investment Promotion Award event.

Chief Minister stated in an X post that Kerala is all geared up to welcome the first Gen AI conclave in Kochi, on July 11 and 12 with over 1000 delegates. He also highlighted that the event is of high value and it further contributes to Kerla’s innovative growth. He expressed his views on the potential growth of generative AI in various departments and spotlighted the state’s urge to reach the helm of Artificial Intelligence in the country.

The Government of Kerala and IBM are bringing India’s first International GenAI Conclave to Kerala which will be held at the Grand Hyatt Kochi. The event is also hosted by the Departments of Industries & Commerce, Electronics & IT, and Digital University collaborating with  CUSAT and the Kerala Technological University.

The event showcases panel discussions, workshops and expert talks which would further exhibit the potential and practical implications of generative AI. Steve Smith, former contributor and one of the world’s most experienced astronauts at NASA will appear as a guest speaker.

The speaker panel anticipates a stellar line-up of prominent international and Indian technology experts, innovators, policymakers, industry leaders and distinguished senior academia from the AI, defence and software domains and other veterans around the globe.
