Amarsingh Tisso was fielded by the Saffron party against the Congress in the Diphu constituency of Assam in the Lok Sabha election 2024.

In this election, he is fielded against Joyram Engleng, of Congress ticket, the former MLA of the saffron party. Being the former MLA of the saffron party and the executive member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), he made a shift to the Congress party as he resigned from the Assam state executive committee and the membership of the BJP.
