Reinforcing the campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha election, Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra’s second Phase “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” is all set to kick start from Manipur to Mumbai on January 14. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh unveiled the route map of the Yatra, which will cover more than 6700 km in 66 days passing through 110 districts.
“It will prove as impactful and transformative as the earlier Bharat Jodo Yatra,” Jairam Ramesh wrote in his social media post releasing the route map of the Yatra.

Inviting the INDIA alliance members and the public, Jairam said: “We extend invitations to leaders from all INDIA alliance parties, their supporters, the general public, and NGOs to join us on this yatra.”
The previous yatra called “Bharat Jodo Yatra” started from Kerala in September 2022 and ended in January 2023 in Kashmir created much political discussion in the country, with many believing that the Yathra reinforced Rahul Gandhi as a powerful political figure and could potentially translate into votes. The Yathra had helped to revive the wearing Congress party by rekindling the spirit of party workers and the general public at the grassroot level.
When the political landscape of the country gets hotter, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s much-celebrated impending consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the Congress’ iconic Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra against the divisive politics of the BJP, the second phase of the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is expected to beef up the political image of the grand old party.
