In a triangular fight between incumbent YSRCP, Congress-led INDIA bloc, and BJP-led NDA alliance, which include Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP, Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party and BJP, the tussle appears interesting. The YSRCP faced fierce competition form the opposition.

Despite the strong challenge Y S Sharmila has establishes, YSRCP’s Y S Avinash Reddy is still leading the seat. Sharmila is trailing behind more than one lakh votes.

The close contest between Bharath Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in Telangana Lok Sabha election would change the political dynamics of the state. The early counts suggest that Congress and BJP are on a neck-to-neck contest, where as AIMIM is having a strong grip in Hyderabad as usual.

Reportedly, there is a strong anti-incumbency sentiments growing in Andhra Pradesh, which could be a significant set-back for Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP (Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party). According to exit polls, the NDA alliance would win 19-25 seats out of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats, with TDP contributing significantly. The exit poll suggested over eight seats to YSRCP.

EXIT polls also suggested that BJP will come out as top in Telangana with 7-10 seats out of the total 17 Lok Sabha seats. The incumbent Congress may get 5-8 seats and BRS and AIMIM may get 3-5 seat

In Telangana, Congress and BJP is putting up a neck to neck contest with eight seats each, while AIMIM manages to have a strong grip on Hyderabad. While Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Medak, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, Chevala, and Mahbubnagar show a lead for BJP, Peddapalle, Zahirabad, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Bhongir, Warangal, Mahabubabad, and Khammam show lead for Congress. In Hyderabad, AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi is leading with a margin of 67,248 seats.

June 4, 2024, 11:25 Am: In Kadapa, Congress President Y S Sharmila is trailing behind with 147012 votes, and is at third place, while YSRCP’s Avinash Reddy is leading with the margin of 31, 391 votes. TDP’s Chadipiralla Bhupesh Subbarami Reddy is in the second place, as per the Election Commission of India report.

June 4, 2024, 10:46 Am: After the first round, BJP chief of G Kishan Reddy is leading Telangana’s Secunderabad with 11,675 votes against Congress’ Danam Nagendar. Kishan Reddy got 32,193 votes, while Nagender secured 20,516 votes. BJP National General Secretary and sitting MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar was leading in Karimnagar by 12,468 votes.
