Rakhibul Hussai of Congress Leading In Dubri: Badruddin Ajmal In Trail

As per the results of the Dubri constituency of Assam, Rakhibul Hussain of Congress is leading with the highest votes pushing Badruddin Ajmal of AIUDF behind. The trends show that Rakhibul Hussain is leading, pushing Badruddin Ajmal behind, who is trailing with 17570 votes.

As the constituency Dubri is witnessing a triangular battle between  Rakibul Hussain of Congress, Zabed Islam of Assam Gana Parishad (AGP), and Badruddin Ajmal of AIUDF,  who kept away the Grand old party from the constituency through his three consecutive wins in Lok Sabha elections, the result thrill is building up as the votes are counted in Dubri constituency.

The 2024 Lok Sabha election witnessed a triangular battle between Rakibul Hussain of Congress, Zabed Islam of Assam Gana Parishad, and the most influential Badruddin Ajmal of AIUDF, who swept away the Grand old party through his three consecutive wins in Lok Sabha elections. 

Rakibul Hussain has represented the Samaguri constituency in the Assam legislative assembly for the Indian National Congress since 2001. Followed by his four consecutive wins in the legislative election, he represented the Dubri constituency in this Lok Sabha election in 2024. He has also served as the deputy leader of the opposition in the Assam Legislative since 2021.
