Lalji Verma of SP accumulated a total of 531983 votes securing victory by 135135 margin in Ambedkar Nagar. Ritesh Pandey of BJP is trailing behind by a total of 3,96,848 votes according to the latest updates.

Ritesh Pandey was the MLA of Jalalpur constituency and the incumbent MP of Ambedkar Nagar. He is contesting the election for the second time. He resigned from BSP and joined BJP in February 2024. He was the leader of BSP in Lok Sabha. He is contesting the election on the banner of BJP.

Lalji Verma is the candidate of SP. He is associated with SP from his student days. He was the former member of legislative assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Qamar Hayat is the BSP candidate.
