
How Chinese JF-17 Thunder And Rafale Jets Stock Market Fluctuating Amid India-Pakistan Conflict?
Amid ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, shares of Avic Chengdu Aircraft Co. Ltd. rose over 36% in Shenzhen trading. A Chinese defence company is the manufacturer of JF-17 along with Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC). Pakistan Air Force is reportedly operating JF-17 Thunder against India during the India-Pakistan ongoing conflict.
As per the reports, Avic Chengdu Aircraft shares rose by 16.37% to hit a high of 80.68 Yuan on Thursday, which rose by 18.18% on Wednesday. In the last two days, the stock prices have climbed by 36.21%. This rise came following the alleged downing of multiple Indian military aircraft, including three Rafale. However, the Indian government has refuted such claims by Pakistani officials and media outlets.
JF-17 Thunder is a multirole combat aircraft developed jointly by Pakistan and China, which is primarily used by the Pakistan Air Force. The aircraft is for air-to-air and air to ground combat, equipped with modern avionics, radar, and weapon systems.
Reportedly, after the alleged news of the downing of Rafale jets. The shares of Dassault Aviation, the French company responsible for the manufacturing of Rafale jets, plummeted by 6%. As per the reports, The stock closed at $351.10 USD, with an intraday high of $386.21 USD and a low of $315.99 USD on May 7, 2025. While on May 8, 2025. It dipped slightly to $348.88 USD, with a high of $383.77 USD and a low of $313.99 USD.
