Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Friday warned Pakistan to stop state-sponsored terrorism or face severe consequences beyond Operation Sindoor.

While addressing the troops at an Army post in Rajasthan’s Anupgarh, General Dwivedi said the Indian forces won’t show any restraint this time, hinting that a second version of ‘Operation Sindoor’ will have significant consequences if Pakistan sponsors terrorism.

The development comes amid ongoing cross-border threats from groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. India’s assertion to respond in full-fledged manner suggests the country’s preparedness for potential Operation Sindoor 2.0.
