Indian Travel Influencer Anunay Sood Passes Away In Las Vegas

Dubai-based popular Indian travel influencer Anunay Sood passed away at the age of 32 while travelling in Las Vegas. His family stated his official account. The message sent shock waves through the community, and condolences poured in from followers, with many fans struggling to believe the news of his sudden passing. Notably, Anunay has over 1.4 million followers on social media.

The statement by “the family and friends of Anunay Sood” requests respect for privacy. “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowds near personal property”, the note reads.

However, the cause of Anunay’s death remains unknown. Reportedly, Anunay was in Vegas attending the Strip Shutdown at Wynn Las Vegas, featuring automotive magnate Horacio Pagani and Christian Von Koenigsegg. The influencer’s recent posts also showed him at the event, with his final one captioned, “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines”.

Anunay was a Golden Visa holder and has been a longtime UAE resident and even had the oppotunity to appear on ‘Seat 07A’, a podcast by UAE Ambassador to India Abdulnasser Alshaali. In a small snippet of the unreleased video featured in the show’s trailer Anunay Sood said, “I think travel changes everyone”.

Anunay’s journey to explore the world began with a vlog from Spiti, where it took him seven attempts to reach what he called ‘paradise.’ His early adventures also included a visit to Chandrataal, where he navigated knee-deep snow in nothing but simple canvas shoes.
