The new-generation Amaze will be introduced by Honda Car India on December 4. The Japanese automaker has released a fresh teaser of the car ahead of its launch. Before the debut, here is all we currently know about the new Amaze. Although Honda has not disclosed the powertrain specifications, a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine is anticipated to power the Amaze. A CVT automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission will be the two possible options. Since the competition is connected to an AMT, it will be the only small car with a CVT transmission. Honda could provide a CNG alternative as well.

A Level 1 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite will be standard on the Amaze, making it the first car in its class to have it. The Amaze utilises an ADAS sensor that is based on a camera. Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance for Bicyclists and Pedestrians, Driver Attention Warning, and High Beam Assist are the ADAS safety features that the sedan is likely to include.
It will also include wireless phone charging, Type C charging outlets, a huge infotainment display, back air conditioning vents, and automated climate control, among other practical features. Three versions of the Amaze will be offered: V, VX, and ZX. The sedan has twin pod LED headlights with a narrow LED DRL and a broad honeycomb front grille resembling the Elevate. A broad chrome strip is added to the front fascia. From the side, the Amaze no longer has the boxy form of a mini-City. Similar to the City, the rear LED cluster also has a shark fin antenna.
