New Delhi: A petitio has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into alleged fake advocates, fraudulent law degrees. The plea sought to probe the activities of persons associated with the sensational Gen Z ‘Cockroach Janta Party,‘ the satirical political out born overnight following Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant’s recent ‘cockroach’ remark regarding the unemployed youth of the country.

The petition noted that certain metaphorical “cockroach” references used during spontaneous courtroom exchanges were subsequently selectively clipped, meme-fified, mimicked, commercially circulated, and transformed into viral digital content detached from constitutional and procedural context, Bar and Bench reported.
