Three Bachelor of Science students got killed in Banglore, as the trio traveling in a two-wheeler ramped into a heavy vehicle on the Airport Road in the early hours of Thursday.

According to the police, the accident happened on the Chikkajala flyover leading to Ballari from Bengaluru around 1:30 AM. The deceased trio was identified as Suchith, Rohith, and Harsha, fourth-year students of BSc agriculture at Gandhi Krishi Vigyana Kendra (GKVK), aged around 22-23.

Moreover, the accident was witnessed by the police as well. The police said that they were riding towards Bangalore city when the trio crashed into a heavy goods vehicle in front of them. As per the preliminary investigation, it was found that the accident occurred when Suchith, the bike rider, was trying to switch lanes at a high speed. Just a few minutes after they fell, an unidentified vehicle crashed into them and sped away.

The trio died on the spot as they sustained grievous injuries on impact with the goods vehicle. The police are investigating on this issue to identify the absconding driver, the vehicle and the exact speed of the vehicle.

It is also revealed by the police that five friends had gone out, and two of them were traveling on another bike when the accident happened.
