SpiceJet shared on social media, “For the first time in 2014, we colored the sky, and the feeling is just as vibrant in 2025.” The airline’s Holi celebrations have become an annual highlight, offering passengers a unique and enjoyable flying experience.

The celebration began with the air hostesses greeting passengers with a traditional Holi  tika (a forehead mark of colored powder) before they performed a synchronised dance routine inside the aircraft, and the dance was carried out while the aircraft was still on the ground, prior to takeoff.

The video quickly gained attention online, garnering both praise and criticism. Many users praised the airline’s effort to bring festive joy to passengers.

However, not all feedback was positive. Some users raised concerns about the airline’s previous service, highlighting issues such as flight delays and unresolved customer complaints.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi reacted strongly to this video. While the airline labeled it as a festive celebration ahead of Holi, Chaturvedi questioned the airline’s priorities.

In a post on X, she reacted, “How is this acceptable? This is a ridiculous attempt to gain popularity. Airlines should focus on safety and punctuality, not on live entertainment.”
