During his recent parliamentary speech, the Congress leader accused the government of spreading a ‘chakravyuh’ to the people of the country. Slamming the Budget, the opposition leader said it betrayed the middle class by increasing the tax on long-term and short-term capital gains and removing the benefit of indexation.

Asking, “why the BJP leaders, ministers, farmers, youngers, and workers are terrified,?” the Congress leader said it is because of a group of six men trapping the entire country in a chakravyuha.

Explaining the mythological context of the chakravyuha, the Congress leader said chakravyuha also known as padmavyuha, a lotus-shaped formation (a BJP symbol), had been devised to trap India’s youth, women, small, and medium businesses in this century. He said six people control chakravyuha naming the Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and others.
