A group of protestors barged into Sheikh Hasina’s residence in Dhaka, Bangladesh, following her departure from the country and started looking for things ransacking her home. They looted whatever they saw and strolled through the place as a woman’s photo holding a ‘Christian Dior’ bag went viral on social media.
An account on the X platform shared the image of a woman smirking as she held a huge travel bag in her hand as the bag cost 47,000 Indian rupees.

The protesters were also seen looting her pets, some eating biriyani at the residence and some relaxing in her bed, while taking possession of her clothes and other accessories.

Social media is deluged with comments as some support their actions and others oppose as the users condemn them calling this move “malicious mischief.”

Some protesters attempted to spifflicate the large statue of Bangladesh’s founder and Sheikh Hasina‘s father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and broke a few of his valuable portraits. A Hindu temple was fired in Bangladesh following over a month of violent protesters resulting in Sheikh Hasina’s resignation. On the contrary, the unrest in the country has appeared to cool down as protesters were seen taking selfies with soldiers guarding the buildings in the capital city.

Sheikh Hasina left the capital amid massive protests and Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, took charge of the interim government. The current appointment to lead the government was declared after a meeting including military officials, civil society representatives, leaders from student protests, and business representatives on Tuesday.
