Though the menu in Paris where the Olympic 2024 is taking place, is being served by Michelin-starred chefs, there are complaints about the food quality in the Olympic Village. Michelin Stars are the finest in the restaurant industry and the culinary world.
The British Olympic Association’s chief executive, Andy Anson has flagged the concerns that the food served at the village is not enough, noting the lack of adequate high-protein ingredients, especially items such as eggs, chicken and some carbohydrates. Complaining about the quality of the food served, Andy Anson asserted that the organisers should improve it over the “next couple of days dramatically.”

Anson also noted that the athletes have decided they would rather go and eat in our performance lodge in Clichy, so we are having to get another chef to come over as the demand is far exceeding what we thought it would be, adding that they are also having packed meals” for their dinners.
To solve the crisis, Team GB has hired additional chefs to prepare food at the Olympic Village, according to a report by The Guardian. Though the Olympic kitchen operates 24 hours a day, offering 40 entrees along with a salad bar, grill, cheese cart, boulangerie, and hot bar, among others, the huge demand for nutrition for athletes has reportedly outpaced the capacity.

With protein foods being the top demand, the athletes are scrambling for the eggs, meat and milk. Approximately 40,000 meals are prepared in the Athletes village every day for a restaurant that can seat 3,300 people, and the organisers are working to increase the supply.
