Team India will look to clean sweep their final dress rehearsal series ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup in the third T20 against Afghanistan at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Wednesday. The hosts have been on top of their game in the first and second T20, winning by 6 wickets each.

As per Team India captain Rohit Sharma, the side has clicked a lot of boxes but his form remains a cause of concern. He has scored ducks in the first-two matches after making a comeback to the shortest format for the first time since November 2022.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Shivam Dube has been the stand-out performer in the series, scoring vital runs in both the matches and picking up important wickets. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal who replaced Shubman Gill in the last match showed why he belongs in the playing XI by playing a whirlwind knock of 68 runs in 34 deliveries, which included six massive sixes.
