England Test captain Ben Stokes will continue to lead his troops in the second Test in Vizag, starting from February 2. The English all-rounder played contrasting knocks in the first Test to display his match-winning ability on Indian soil. He scored a gritty 70 off 88 deliveries in the first innings before he was undone by an inswinging delivery by Jasprit Bumrah while he could manage only six runs in the second.

Stokes also acknowledged observing the Team India tactics in the first innings and deploying his bowlers accordingly in the second to record a historic 28-run victory in the first Test. He rotated his spinners and showed faith in debutant Tom Hartley as he returned figures of 7/62 in the second innings.
