India will play their Champions Trophy 2025 matches in the UAE, including the much-anticipated league clash against Pakistan on Sunday, 23 February, reported CricInfo. The decision, finalised after Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi met Sheikh Nahyan Al Mubarak in Pakistan, follows a hybrid hosting model agreed by both nations.
PCB spokesperson Amir Mir confirmed the UAE as the neutral venue for India’s games, with fixtures likely to be held in Dubai. India will also face Bangladesh on 20 February and New Zealand on 2 March in the group stage.

Meanwhile, Pakistan, the defending champions, will play their opening match against New Zealand in Karachi on 19 February and their final league match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on 27 February.
The second group comprises Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa, with matches held across Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. Semi-finals are scheduled for 4 and 5 March, with the latter having a reserve day. The final is set for 9 March in Lahore, but it may shift to the UAE if India qualifies.
The hybrid hosting model ensures that Pakistan’s matches at ICC events hosted by India until 2027 will also be played at neutral venues.
