Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni was spotted in a new look during a training session at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The former India captain who joined the CSK camp, earlier this week, donned a bandana as he was seen sporting his long hair.
The five-time champions shared the picture on the official Twitter account with a caption, saying, “Bandanas just got a lot cooler!” The post soon started to receive a reaction from the fans as one of them was sent into nostalgia due to his long hair. He commented, “#Thala getting ready to finish it the way it all started.”
Another fan took note of his fitness and said, “Super Fit Dhoni Back!!!! He is maintaining 100 percent fitness which is most important to be in the playing XI … His fitness tells that even at this age he can beat those youngsters in this game! Probably he”ll play one more season of IPL with this fitness level! Thala is back and hope he will try to win a trophy when he is signing off”.

It is speculated that the IPL 2024 might be the last season for Dhoni. However, as it is with Dhoni, only he knows if the speculations are true at the end of the season. The Chennai-franchise has massively benefitted from Dhoni as he helped them clinch five titles in the lucrative tournament, which is the joint-highest along side Mumbai Indians.
Dhoni has been one-franchise player in the IPL. He has featured in 250 matches, raking up 5082 runs at an average of 38.79 and strike rate of 135.92. He has 24 half-centuries to his name.
