SunRisers Hyderabad fast bowler T Natarajan began his Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 campaign on a fiery note as he dismissed Kolkata Knight Riders” Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer in the same over at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday.
After being hit for a boundary by Venkatesh in the second delivery of the third over, Natarajan made a brilliant comeback to remove him by pitching the ball shorter. Natarajan did not stop at that as Shreyas was his next victim in the penultimate delivery with a length ball doing the trick for him.

KKR were given a good start by their opener Phil Salt but the top order fell in quick succession, thanks to some fantastic fielding display and fiery spell from SRH. The two-wicket over also helped Natarajan complete his 50 wickets in the lucrative tournament.
The Tamil Nadu fast bowler recorded his best ever IPL season in 2022 when he scalped 18 wickets at an average of 22.56. Overall, he has an economy rate of 8.77 in the lucrative tournament and the best bowling figures of 3/10.
