Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho has arrived in Kolkata for a two-day visit. Several programs are planned in which Ronaldinho will be the chief guest. He will also inaugurate a Durga Puja pandal.

Ronaldinho is likely to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as well. The 43-year-old Ronaldinho is considered one of the greatest of all time (GOAT) in football. He played a pivotal role in winning the World Cup, Copa America, and Confederations Cup for the Brazilian team. He has also won a Champions League and a Copa Libertadores.

Ronaldinho is the only player who has won all these trophies in his career. As an attacking midfielder, Ronaldinho has also been selected twice for FIFA World Player of the Year awards and a Ballon d’Or. Kolkata is renowned for its deep love for football. The city is home to legendary football clubs such as East Bengal, Mohun Bagan SG, and Mohammedan. Earlier, football legend Maradona had also visited the city.
