In a momentous and much-awaited move, French star Kylian Mbappe has already signed a contract with Real Madrid, as per a report in Marca. The development comes after Mbappe informed his current employer PSG that he is not looking to extend his contract with the club, which ends on June 30. The Frenchman will likely become a new player for the Spanish giants from July 1.
The Frenchman has been linked to Real Madrid twice before, in 2017 and 2022. He had decided to turn down the offer from Real Madrid seven years ago to join PSG. In 2022, he was on the verge of completing a move to Real Madrid but his choice changed after a monstorous offer from the French giants.
Although his fee is still not confirmed. Earlier, Bild reported that the personal terms are looking difficult to reach because the Frenchman is demanding twice as much as Los Blancos are willing to pay.
The Los Blancos are willing to put €35m (£30m/$38m) annual offer on the table for the Frenchman. But the final offer stands nowhere close to what Mbappe has been demanding. The Spanish football giants are also looking for ”written guarantees” from the Frenchman if a compromise on terms is reached with a protracted saga around the deal continuing to drag on.
