Young SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Nitish Kumar Reddy became the most expensive buy in the Andhra Premier League (APL) on Thursday, following his batting exploits in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

SRH shared a video of Reddy reacting to his bid at the APL 2024. “Andhra Pradesh Premier League witnesses history as Nitish Kumar Reddy becomes the most expensive player ever picked!,” SRH said on X.

“The highest player bid in the history of the Andhra Premier League is none other than the star all-rounder K Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was acquired by the Godavari Titans for an astonishing Rs 15.6 lakhs in Season 3. 🌟 Exciting times ahead with IPL star ⭐️ Nitish leading the charge!,” APL said in a statement.
